Hi, I'm Kelly!

I am the Creative Director for SkyTruth, a conservation tech nonprofit that utilizes satellite imagery to make hidden environmental problems visible. As the CD, I oversee the organization’s brand identity, and lead the planning and creation of all visual content including reports, data viz, website design, promotional materials, and more. Prior to becoming the CD, I was a data journalist at SkyTruth, leading the company's data analysis and digital communication, telling compelling stories using a variety of datasets, tools and programs. Before coming to SkyTruth, I worked as the Interactive Graphics Editor for Science Magazine where I created charts, maps, graphs and online interactives. I am passionate about advocating for the natural world and enjoy using art to communicate challenging scientific concepts to a diverse audience. I have a background in both art and science, with a Masters Degree in Biology and Bachelors Degrees in both Biology and Illustration.
